good morning my friends I'm pastor
Steven Brooks and welcome today to
Morning Glory
our midweek Bible study praise God it's
so good to be able to jump into the Word
of God and study God's rich Word now
today we're going to be in the book of
2nd chronicles chapter 16 and let's go
down to verse let's go down to verse 8
today we're gonna talk about the eyes of
the Lord
let's jump into this today by opening up
with prayer Heavenly Father we ask that
your Holy Spirit would come bringing
more than just a historic lesson but
father a life application into our
hearts that your Holy Spirit would
anoint the Scriptures that we can take
your word and apply it to our lives and
receive the miraculous results that you
so desire for us to experience now
father we thank you we give you praise
we thank you for doing great miracles
which is what you want to do have your
way in Jesus name we all agree and say
amen and let me say also for those who
are continuing on the 21-day fast today
is number 7 so everybody out there on
the 21-day corporate fast
welcome today number 7 as by God's grace
we were just moving forward praise the
Lord and by the time I greet so many of
you next Sunday it'll be you'll be past
the halfway point praise God so continue
on by the Grace and strength of the Lord
as he certainly is our strength
praise God now second chronicles chapter
16 verse 8 were the Ethiopians and the
Lubin not a huge army with very many
chariots and horsemen oh yes they were a
large army 1 million men whew that's a
lot of people they greatly outnumbered
Israel through the one and the the
Ethiopian army also had the chariots a
very rare thing back in those days in a
huge military advantage
if you had chariots so they had 300
chariots and the horse meant of course
to go along with it and you know the
people of Judah didn't have any so they
really had to trust in the Lord yet
because you relied on the Lord he
delivered them into your hand and it was
an absolute miraculous victory everybody
knew it because they were so outnumbered
but see they expected God to deliver
them King ASA did and the Lord came
through for him and it was not just a
victory it was a rout where there were
all kinds of spoils after the battle was
over they were able to gather up all of
these spoils and so it wasn't so much
that now your life is not threatened
with danger as it is that sure your
enemy's been wiped out but now you've
got all the spoils - it was a victory on
many fronts
and that was simply because they relied
on the Lord put their full trust in him
and we're really walking right with the
Lord verse 9 for the eyes of the Lord
run to and fro throughout the whole
earth to show himself strong on behalf
of those whose heart is loyal to him now
this is what the Prophet told King ASA
he said in this you have done foolishly
therefore from now on you shall have
wars that ASA was angry with the seer
and put him in prison for he was enraged
at him because of this and they suppress
some of the people at that time well
unfortunately it's like a like a script
that gets replayed and replayed and you
kind of see it coming even before it
happens and you're like oh no not again
and so you have Israel at a very well
let's let's say Judah because the
northern portion you know Israel had
been split in half you have the northern
kingdom southern kingdom and the
northern kingdom totally often to
idolatry doing their own thing and you
know separate it from God in idolatry
and just a big mess really but you had
some faithful people down in the
southern kingdom and when do to begin to
get their hearts right with God and ASA
ruling over them as king you even had
some people from up north come
down and you don't because everybody can
tell when God's with you guys with you
and that's gonna draw attention so
people really did come from throughout
the Land of Israel and God was moving
but again you're looking at this script
that would repeat itself over and over
whenever they were in desperate times
and you know getting defeated and wiped
out and you know just trying to really
stay alive
oftentimes in like great oppression they
would begin in their heart to turn back
to God crying out to God coming back
into a place of right relationship with
God and turning away from idols and all
of the stuff that got him into the
trouble in the first place and and you
would see God respond and the Covenant
would be reestablished things would go
well for a while and they went well for
ASA for about 26 years but you see the
script which is in times of prosperity
times of success times of where you know
you got a lot of money in the bank and
everything is going good for you that
often times you can begin to drift in
your relationship with God now you don't
have to you can be successful you can be
blessed you can have a lot of money in
the bank and you could still have a
heart closed with God but you know what
you have to work at that you have to
stay close to the Lord and make sure
that the maybe we could call them the
riptides currents of the world
don't pull you away from God and that's
the thing about those currents you know
I grew up by the Gulf of Mexico and you
know you could be out there on your on
your inner tube or raft just floating
along having fun waving at your family
at the on the beach and you know you're
about a hundred yards out and the next
thing you know you look and hey they're
they're moving no they're not moving
you're moving in the the current is
carrying you out and sometimes it'll
take you sideways and things like that
of course you could scrum sideways and
get out of it or else you'll get taken
out to sea but you know what those
currents they'll they'll just pull you
take your long ways out but the thing is
you know don't get caught up in the
current stay close to the Lord
stay very close to him so that your life
is not like a script like ancient Israel
of being near and then drifting and now
being in a mess
getting back in the loop again and just
repeat the cycle over and over again and
that's not God's plan for your life God
God is stable he's always there he's
always solid and the more you're plugged
into him the more of his nature gets
into you with that same character of
Reliance stability trustworthiness
always they're always showing up always
right and that's what God creates in us
praise the Lord and so King ASA was
rebuked by the seer the prophet a uh
let's see here
his name was Hanani and then the King
gets mad at her nonny throws him in
prison and then it gets you know upset
and I'm sure those who were in the know
amongst his own people who were just
like hey you know your king you're
lifted up in pride you're hey we're
going in the wrong direction we've seen
this pattern before and so he violently
oppresses them and does them wrong so
he's just he's drifted from the Lord and
he started off so good and see here's
the thing you want to have your
breakthrough moment with God but your a
breakthrough moment it's not just to put
supposed to be something that
short-lived where maybe you know you
ride this thing for six months and then
it implodes or something like that God
God lifts you up to establish you so
that for the rest of your life you
maintain and increase you don't blow up
and you don't destroy the platform or
the blessing that he's given to you but
a sub you know although he started off
so good he just did not finish right and
it's very very important how we finish
now we want to talk a little bit today
about the eyes of the Lord and you want
to catch the Lord's attention you want
to catch the Lord's eyes praise the Lord
so I believe that the Lord is still
looking throughout the earth for those
who as it says in the New King James
Version are loyal to him now the word
loyal in the Hebrew actually denotes the
meaning of completeness or your heart
completely given over in absolute
loyalty to the Lord where you are you're
just like obedient to anything he tells
you to do not just the written word yes
you're following the commandments of God
but also should God give you a directive
an assignment you are like a good
soldier and you say yes Lord I'm on it
I'm hitting that direction right now you
know I do know some Christians
and I don't doubt that they're
Christians one bit I know they're saved
I know they love Jesus but if the Lord
were to give them certain directives
they'd be like Oh Lord I love you but I
don't want to do that well true love is
actually to obey the commandments of God
not just the written ones of course we
all know that but the commandments
directives of the Holy Spirit because
the Holy Spirit is the voice of God and
the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of
all of us that are children of God who
are and when I say children of God you
know the world thinks for all children
of God but you're not you're only a
child of God if you are born again in
Christ washed with this blood and you
have received him as your Lord and
Savior if you're not in Christ you are
not a child of God so we thank God that
as children we should have hearts that
are really sold out to the Lord that are
as the scripture says loyal or as the
deeper meaning in the Hebrew means
completely completely faithful and given
over to the Lord who praise God and if
you have that you are a candidate for
the eyes to stop they'll stop on you and
God will say you know what I can work
for this person now notice I didn't say
God said I can work with this person
although we know that you had God
working together but I really believe
it's more than that I believe that God
actually is looking for people that not
so much that he can work with that he
could actually work for in other words
let me show you what I can do in your
life if your life is completely yielded
to me and you are completely loyal to me
and I have your entire heart let me show
you what I can do for you
praise God and I'll tell you what you
start
that and life gets very very exciting
for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro
in other words back and forth throughout
the earth to show himself strong see God
wants to show himself strong or in other
words God wants to work mightily on
behalf of those whose heart is loyal or
completely given over to him and then of
course we see that the seer said to the
king and this you have done foolishly
therefore from now on you shall have
Wars now what the King did that was
foolish the drifting away from God now
remember it happens in here before it
happens externally but in his heart he
was already drifting from God and soul
in a place of great strength when the
king of Israel up north began to set up
fortifications in Ramah that you know
asa just said well you know what i know
what i can do since he wants to start a
war with me and he's gonna try to cut
off any northern supply routes i know
what i can do i can i can hire the king
of syria who the king of israel is an
alliance with i can buy out the king of
syria i can get him over on my side
because we've got so much money and i'll
just turn the king of syria against the
king of israel and have him send
mercenaries over there and attack the
king of israel get that guy off my back
and then i'll have peace and he thought
he thought it was a great idea and he
had a lot of had a lot of reserves not
only in his personal treasury but also
in the the temple treasury but you know
what going in there into the temple
Treasury and getting gold or silver or
whatever he got and giving that to the
you know the king of syria saying hey go
go attack now your former ally and you
know i'll give you all this wealth and
the horse the king of syria was happy to
do that but you know this is not like
you're just going into your house and
you know saying hey I'll give you my
microwave I'll give you my refrigerator
or let me go over to the church we've
got a few old used song books I'll give
those to you know know that when you go
into the house of the Lord and you just
start taking things that are sacred and
holy and this you know giving those away
like they're you know
like plastic spoons or knives some
thinking your hearts not right with God
there are things that are holy to the
Lord there are things that are sacred to
God and the holy things you you have to
be careful you have to pray about stuff
like that and really with what the war
looming on him he was just like he
should have been praying anyhow but he
had such natural strength that he didn't
turn to the Lord and he relied on his
own ingenuity
I'm sure his advisers probably said hey
that's a pretty good idea because we're
being attacked from up north but Syria
is even farther north and that's exactly
what the king of Syria did came down
through the Golan Heights and attacked
Rama which was north of Jerusalem and
the next thing you know the king of
Israel is just like well I've got to
back off and not only did he back off
and was defeated but even the work that
he had been building the fortifications
that he was starting well ASA was like
hey I can go up there and grab all of
his lumber and bring it back we'll just
take it back down here and uh so he
thought he was really smart but it was
all in the flesh it was all in the
soulish mine and it was very far away
from the Covenant that he had stepped
into with the Lord just a few decades
earlier now remember a couple of decades
earlier he had made this covenant with
God we're looking 26 years down the road
and here's what he's drifted along was a
long way I I think just like a you know
I this is not the same for an electric
vehicle like a Tesla or something like
that and that's pretty cool with the
Tesla that with normal vehicles that are
you know gasoline operated or diesel or
whatever you have to change the oil and
you know what the electric vehicles you
don't have to do that although there's
still maintenance needed but of course
I'm not here today to preach about
vehicles
I just think though that you need oil
changes you know you shouldn't go 10 15
years and things like that without
having you know retreats or pursuits or
times where you just really go after God
and you maintain that freshness and you
have to do that especially during times
of prosperity because look you know the
Lord is going to be pouring out his
blessing upon his people and new
measures of anointing and and and
finances and
and all of the things that we've been
praying about but you have to stay close
to the Lord we don't want any end times
stories like ASA repeat it praise God we
want to walk our whole lives out
faithful to the Lord and I'm glad at
this phase in my life at this point in
my life I'm still pressing into the Lord
I have no intentions to change that you
know it's not like well hey when I get
when I get to be 70 I can finally just
kick back and go spend all my time at
the golf course well I have to be honest
I have no desire to go to the golf
course not that there's a sin of playing
golf or anything like that actually
think Golf is a very beautiful sport
it's a wonderful thing but I just want
to serve the Lord you know I just want
to I want to be praying I want to be
seeking after the Lord I know that we
are coming into the finest hour of
pushing into the initial phases of the
end time harvest and so we need to
really walk close with God you know me
and Kelly were talking earlier today and
also yesterday about a certain lady she
came from Iran there's a lot of
persecution in Iran but at the same time
there is a tremendous move of God taking
place in Iran right now and this lady
was able to get out of Iran with her
husband and they came to America and
they they were allowed in and they got
all the legal paperwork and stuff like
that and our government let them in and
so that they got here and they got you
know got a place to stay and stuff like
that and you know some what some months
went by and the wife told the husband
she said you know what something is
coming up on me that I've never
experienced before
and I'm very concerned about it and he
said what's that
she said lethargy like like a spirit of
lethargy like I'm starting to lose all
interest in what really matters which is
the kingdom of God and seemed soul saved
and I'm starting to fall into this
cultural sleep that's over America and
over a lot of the American Church where
you just you you turn inward and you're
just self interested in taking care of
yourself and you know and you need to
take care of yourself you understand
what I'm saying but it can just become
all-consumed
and she said I'm just getting
spiritually sleepy and that pathetic
well this went on for a while and it
didn't change and she told her husband I
want to go back to Iran I want to go
back where the church is on fire and you
know that's kind of crazy you know from
the mind of it if you think it with the
natural mind hey you know if you're a
woman over there and they find out you
know they're gonna they're gonna
persecute you and it's you know you're
you're looking at you know rape you're
looking at torture you're looking at
awful awful things well they're gonna
try to break you and so that's just
reality over there and at the same time
the church is on fire praise God
hallelujah
and you know what she went back her and
her husband moved back to Iran she's
like this sleepy lethargic spirit she
said I can't live with this after we've
been in the fire I want to go back in
the fire hallelujah well pastor Stephen
she might die she might be a martyr yeah
she's totally happy with that for he's
gonna see you you have to stay close to
the Lord or you just fall asleep whoo
glory to God mm-hmm see I'm not here to
tickle you ear or to take a little
feather and you know tickle your nose or
stuff like that really I'm here talking
to you because I want to raise up
warriors that is part of my calling
not to just you know produce Christians
that just go out and you know they're
just kind of like cookie cutter mold and
no you know no fire no one morning
no willing to lay their life down but
they can still you know verbally quote
and say all the Christianese that's not
what I'm after Alan that's not what
God's after and the Lord has
specifically told me that I'm supposed
to raise up warriors hallelujah and if
that includes the path of martyrdom it
is what it is hallelujah well pastor
Steven you're going a little too far
well hey that was the first 350 years of
Christian Church history it was just
martyrdom it was just blood being
spilled all the time and that was
normally and Oh glory to God you have to
be on your toes I'm not saying you're
gonna be martyred relax but there is a
place in the Lord where you can have
peace and if it is what it is it is was
what did
praise God and you know the next thing
you know you're in heaven God gives
grace God gives strength praise God but
you should be resolved
you should be resolved to follow God no
matter what mmm Pastor Steven I'm just
afraid somebody's not gonna like me well
you just need to grow up
hallelujah in the Lord and realize if
you want to walk in the 100 fold less
see not everybody's gonna celebrate that
or celebrate you but you have to you
have to be concerned about pleasing God
pleasing the Lord thank you Lord Jesus
mmm thank you Jesus hallelujah by the
way our our programs that will record it
with my Iranian American friend they're
almost finished it takes a long time to
do the voiceovers because he has to have
a voiceover from English in the Farsi I
have to have a voiceover from English in
the Farsi and it's got to go back and
forth at the same time and it's you know
simple six programs so it is technical
and they're almost done with it and I
believe it's going to be really really
nice hallelujah and I told my friend I
said look tell tell the voice-over
people who gave us a really good deal I
said soon as they're done sodas are done
with those six shows I want I want to
talk with them about my pure gold
programs getting those translated in the
Farsi and I want to get the Word of God
on various networks into Iran
oh praise God mmm
mm thank you Jesus hallelujah hallelujah
we must build up our brothers and
sisters who are suffering around the
world praise God do you know that the
book that the Lord had me write about
the spiritual gifts how the operate in
the gifts of the Spirit
the whole book was just completed and it
took about five months the whole book
has now been translated into Mandarin
Chinese and the book has been uploaded
to a major Christian web site in China
and it can be downloaded from any
Chinese speaking person in China and
they can download it and I've already
been hearing the reports that the book
is helping a lot of people in the
underground church it's encouraging the
Christians and so you know that book has
the potential to reach over a billion
people who speak Mandarin who praise God
so you know it's hot persecution in
China it's it's really hot against the
church so we have to we have to really
pray for our brothers and sisters that
are being persecuted God has given us a
reprieve with President Trump I know
some of you didn't vote for President
Trump and you know that's between you
and the Lord but I'm just saying I
really love President Trump I'm a big
believer in him he's not perfect but I
wasn't voting for a pastor I was voting
for God's man for the hour and I believe
that he is that man and I believe that
if he were not in office right now we as
Christians would probably as a church we
would probably be starting to move into
an underground church the persecution
that would have come against the
believers if the other person would have
gotten into office would have been
ferocious there would have been no
holding back of all of these evil forces
in America that have a vendetta against
Christians and against Jews mm-hmm who
praise the Lord and that my friends I
believe is the truth praise God
thank you Lord Jesus hallelujah so
please pray for our president pray for
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and
pray for Boris Johnson over there in the
UK I believe God's doing some things
that just totally have frustrated the
devil ooh praise God because I the Lord
talked with me about these things in
prayer and I believe that God is going
to set
things up where we can make a mighty
mighty impact for the gospel so we need
to be throwing the nets we need to have
a global vision praise God and that's
what we are doing because God really
does want to show himself strong for you
he wants to do mighty big things in your
life but you can't be like like a fish
just flopping around on this way
no I'm this way and over here and some
in front of some people I'm like this
but in front of these people I'm like
this no you have to be strong in the
Lord I'm not saying that you have to be
rude or be offensive or anything like
that but you need to know who you are in
the Lord and not apologize for being a
Christian whoo-hoo praise God mm-hmm
thank you Lord Jesus now I want to talk
about how ASA got into a really good
initial relationship with the Lord after
the great victory over the Ethiopians
and that one million man army I tell you
what they were all excited they knew
that God was with them but they knew
that God wanted to kind of like lock it
in and get and not just have this a one
time victory but just like Usher in a
new realm of what we would maybe called
revival or a move of God okay and so we
see it in second chronicles chapter 15
verse 9 then he gathered all Judah and
Benjamin and those who dwelt with them
from Ephraim Manasseh and Simeon for
they came over to him in great numbers
from Israel when they saw that the Lord
his God was with him so they gathered
together at Jerusalem in the third month
in the fifteenth year of the reign of
ASA they offered to the Lord at that
time seven hundred Bulls and seven
thousand sheep from the spoil they had
brought then they entered into a
covenant to seek the Lord God of their
fathers with all of their heart and with
all their soul now for those of you that
are on your fast that may be something
that you might want to consider coming
into a covenant with the Lord where you
seek Him it says here they sought him
with all of their heart and with all
their soul woo praise God I mean they
just poured it all out on the table Lord
I'm really coming after you you
break through into that place where you
know God is with you mmm you know it you
know you're not wondering you're not
doubting and you don't see I get emails
Pastor Steven
I haven't hear from God but yet the same
people will say I can sure that they'll
admit they can hear from the devil they
actually admit they can hear better from
the devil that they can hear from God
yet they're Christians with the Holy
Spirit the voice of God living on the
inside of them but yet they seem to not
be able to pick up the guidance of the
Holy Spirit then leaving about the Holy
Spirit or get revelation from the Lord
but oh they'll say Oh pastor Steven told
the Devils really been speaking to me
mmm see that's totally reversed from the
way it should be if you're in a
situation like that I'm not saying
you're not saved because I know that you
are when you've called upon Christ but
I'm saying you may want to cut a
covenant and say God back I can't live
like this anymore
I I just refused to live a Christian
life that is just so powerless and god
I'm coming after you I'm gonna seek you
with all of my heart and with all of my
strength cuz I know you've got more for
me and you know what he does he does and
he does want to work for you and he does
want to do great miracles for you
hallelujah
but you and God really need to be close
together so that he can he can speak to
you and that he can guide you by his I
praise the Lord and you make the right
decisions and do the right things all
right
praise God verse 14 then they took an
oath before the Lord with a loud voice
shouting and trumpets and ram's horns
and all do to rejoice at the oath for
they had sworn with all their heart and
sought him with all their soul and he
was found by them and the Lord did what
he gave them rest all around the moment
that covenant is engaged you seek God
with all of your heart and you're just
like God I'm just refusing to live on
such a level of mediocrity really
honestly it's a level of defeat isn't it
or secret sins overwhelm you where you
have no you know the promises of God you
know um you could even quote them but
yet this nothing happened in your life
and you just say god I can't live like
this
or this is craziness Lord I'm gonna have
to tie in and come into the reality of
this covenant and so you give God all of
your heart and see that's what they did
and they found God they made that
connections and he was found by them and
the Lord God gave them rest all around
that means the moment you have that
breakthrough that means the moment you
have the breakthrough God starts dealing
with your enemies God starts dealing
with your enemies and it gets them off
your back your debts start going down
sicknesses start leaving your body
bizarre weird oppressions start leaving
your home and the cloud just who starts
getting driven back praise God you know
there's been a lot of good prophecies
spoken over the year 2020 I've given
some good words that the Lord has shared
me other prophets have shared good words
but you know what it's going to take
more than just a good word I hope you
understand that that you have a part to
play in this and you have to extend your
heart out to the Lord and give him your
very very best and if you do that you
will make that contact with the power
zone of God mmm
and trust me when you make the contact
you'll know it whoa glory to God I yeah
it's it's an it's an amazing thing when
you don't have to fake it and you don't
have to fabricate it and act like it
happened when it really didn't it's an
amazing thing when God starts talking to
you for real and you don't have to do
this like I think I heard from God or I
want to act like I heard from God so I
impress people but I have really
actually doubt it well you're doubting
it because it didn't happen but when
it's real when it's real it's
irreplaceable and you just and you're
just like Lord I'm gonna have to
maintain this this this is absolutely
amazing oh praise God you come into that
walk with God hallelujah glory to God
that's why we seek him that's also why
we do corporate fasting because we want
to get the flesh under and become very
precise in the spirits guidance and
direction praise the Lord thank you Lord
Lord we give you praise
he God was found by them and the Lord
God gave them rest all around he starts
he searched backing off the enemy hmm
you know there's a lot of Christians
they want God to bless them they want
God to give them millions of dollars
they want God to heal their bodies they
want God to do all of this stuff for
them while they sit back while they sit
back and give God like this half-baked
commitment God bless me got some guts
like what do you think I'm some kind of
an idiot businessman do you think I
don't know that if I gave it to you you
consume it all on it all on yourself oh
no Lord I would surely give half to you
but yet God looks right into their heart
and sees sees the whole thing's alive
they wouldn't do it
they've even deceived themselves they
would say they would but they know they
wouldn't and God knows God knows God
didn't see right in there and so they
they're like Lord let's cut a deal like
gods like I'm not cutting any kind of a
deal with you because you're not in it
you're not in it you're not in it I was
in a country one time and doing a lot of
preaching and a minister so-called
Minister came up to me and he said he
said pastor Stephen let's do something
beautiful together for the Lord I
thought that sounds good I said what do
you want to do he says well while you're
here in my country he said let me cut
let me show come with me
show me show me and he's I'll show you
my orphanage I take care of these
children and he saw Drive you there in
my Mercedes well I didn't go because he
had a Mercedes I mean it's just a car
right but I thought well okay you know
at least maybe his has air conditioning
has been driven around for a while and
uh it was a little hot it was a little
hot in a little dusty well he put me in
his Mercedes in the back and found out
that as we got going down the road that
the windows
I said hey uh well first of all I found
out the air conditioner in his Mercedes
didn't work it was like a 30 year old
Mercedes and I said hey brother I said
if your a/c doesn't work I said um I
said that's alright I said hey would you
mind putting the windows down well
Pastor Steven the windows are broken
it's like 112 degrees outside and we're
driving around in a car the windows
won't get would go down this was like a
hundred and thirty degrees by the time
we got there I was about to pass out and
I think he was too and we pull up to the
orphanage Pastor Steven behold a
beautiful orphanage and the orphanage
just looked awful and he said he said
you he said if you send money to me he
said I'll take care of the children with
it and the Holy Spirit spoke to me so
clearly don't give him a penny he's a
liar he's a liar he's a thief he'll take
he'll take ninety-nine percent of it for
himself and he'll just let the kids just
almost live on survival level Holy
Spirit said don't give that man anything
he's a total fraud stir oh yes he had a
he had a orphanage per se but it was
just a front for him to get a lot of
money and to take almost you know all of
it and spend it on himself well you know
the poor children are really struggling
and you see that some of these countries
are so much fraud there is so much
corruption and God see the eyes of the
Lord they're looking for people that
will not will not allow these things to
corrupt them you know it says in the
book of Proverbs that if a judge takes a
bribe it instantly will blind the eyes
of that judge and that judge you could
have the highest credentials and you
could still have your position and you
could be on a you could be a judge on a
national level but if you have been
bought out behind the scenes with bribes
you lose your ability to discern and you
become in many ways just a puppet and
it's really really sad and so we need to
be people that will not sell out that
cannot be bowled bought out that are not
corrupt praise God
thank you Lord Jesus because the eyes of
the Lord are looking and you know what
that man would have had a good heart

he lost that loyalty and now he has

he dies we'll take it again back to the
heights but by the way the eyes of the
Lord God seen you seeing your needs
seeing what he can do for you knowing
he's got the power and actually of
course all of that denoting that he
wants to do it for you we see that God
saw their need for deliverance from the
one million man army they sought him he
delivered them from that I'm telling
here to tell you God wants to deliver
you more than you want to be delivered
yourself okay but we also see that God
even wants to heal praise God
then ASA was angry with the seer and put
him in prison for he was enraged at him
because
this an ASA oppressed some of the people
at that time note that the acts of ASA
first and last are indeed written in the
book of the kings of Judah and Israel
and then the 39th year of his reign ASA
became diseased in his feet and his
malady was severe yet in his disease he
did not seek the Lord but the physicians
God saw that the eyes of the Lord saw
that the eyes of the Lord the power of
God available saw that and realizes that
he doesn't he's not even looking for our
help now thank God for doctors you know
what you can be in faith and you could
go through the doctors while at the same
time you were in faith that God could
heal you but he didn't even give God the
time of day and he died
and I'm sure it was very very painful so
he had he had a great beginning but he
had a very pitiful ending but I believe
that your breaking through into that
place of covenant into that place where
you find God well pastor Stephen now
that I know this is what some are
thinking pastor Stephen I am a Christian
I have found God yes you found salvation
you found salvation you found
forgiveness of sins but there's a lot to
unpack with that word salvation it means
deliverance from everything praise the
Lord and so if there are things that
have not yet experienced the great
victory of Christ manifested in your
life then you need to you need to really
seek the Lord for the victory in those
areas because God can do it whether it's
healing in the feet praise God
maybe somebody is watching right now you
have problems in your feet well don't be
like ASA and just think well God you
know you know it's just you know
whatever no go after the Lord and get
close to God get close to God praise the
Lord thank you Lord Jesus see God wants
relationship but God God is very jealous
of those that are close to him
let me say this about the Lord if you
honor him he will honor you but if you
lightly esteem the Lord which is a big
culture today in the American church a
very lightly esteeming God then God will
lightly esteem you even if you're a
Christian even if you're his own child
these are very very important principles
principles of Honor where we have to
honor God as the great God that he is
and he's worthy of our attention he's
worthy of our affection he's worthy of
our worship he is worthy of our all-out
pursuit praise God and if there's
anything else that's gotten in the way
he's not happy about that you know you
could still go to heaven and you know
have issues but you're not going to get
the type of crown that when you get to
heaven you will wish that you could have
had if you would have just while you you
know while you're on the earth made
those efforts and of course when you get
to heaven you know many things actually
all things will be revealed but at that
point you cannot go back and replay it
over again it's set it set the way it is
the way you finish is the way it is and
you can begin to learn things and you
get things talked to you but it's while
you're here on the earth this is the
time when it really matters of the
ranking and the position that you will
acquire when you pass over to the other
side there are some Christians bless
their hearts they are so carnal and they
are so low level like like Paul called
Paul speaking to the church in Corinth
talked about how carnal or fleshly they
were in their mind and their thinking
and there's Christians like that today
that are so carnal that think that when
we get to heaven talking about the
Christians when we get to heaven we all
get the same reward that is the silliest
concept
that doesn't even make sense here on the
earthly realm
as if on the earth you know you have a
test and you study and you know you make
out 100 or an a-plus and the other
person puts no effort into it makes like
a 65 yeah you all get the same reward no
you don't get the same reward you move
on higher you get Awards that person
failed praise God
but in heaven all the rewards the
glories that await the the things that
God has in store for those that really
love him and will it really laid their
lives down oh praise God but see you
have to go you have to do it now you
have to push now all the way all the way
you don't certainly want to lose rewards
by drifting at the end like ASA did

all right the eyes of the Lord are
looking now remember God wants to work
for you God wants to do something great
for you but he needs your complete
commitment he needs all of your heart

that's that's something you and the Lord
have to get that ironed out if you want
to get into the glory if you want to get
into the rich blessing that's where it's
at you have to give God all of your
heart and when you do that and he sees
you really mean it you will discover him
in a way that you've never discovered
him before you'll find him and again
that kind of throws people a little bit

when I got saved well you did in an
introductory level but if you want God
to come on the scene and suddenly
deliverance just starts happening all
around all around your enemies just get
pushed back and you begin to experience
rest on all sides that requires you
giving God every part of your heart mmm

should pray about it

thinking about it they knowing the glory
that could be there for them in you I

glimpses of what you have for them the

route into the glory goes through the

me about how the Holy Spirit showed him

blessing but you won't do it and you've
got that locked up so tight that if
Jesus came to you in a vision and stood
before you in a vision and asked you to
do it you would not do it and that you
know that's the truth I'm speaking to a
few you absolutely know that's the truth
and for some of you you've hoard it and
you stored and you have a large amount
you wouldn't you wouldn't give that to
the Lord for anything well guess what
the Lord's gonna want to talk with you
about if you really want to come into
this glory I tell you if you don't move
with the Holy Spirit there will come a
time you'll regret it
they'll come a time you will regret it
because the greatest joy in the in the
world is serving the Lord and living for
him now I'm not asking anybody to do
something God hasn't told you to do
praise the Lord
but I know there's some people that's an
area of your heart you would not allow
you will not open your heart and allow
God to go in there and touch that that's
that's your you're the king
you're sitting on the key on the throne
of your heart not the Lord in that area
praise God and if you don't get that
right with God you may be sitting pretty
right now but it's not going to let it's
not going to stay like that forever and
there'll be a they'll become a time if
you don't yield he will not deal with
you anymore in that area and you'll just
go on dry you'll stay dry for the rest
of your life you'll stay spiritually
barren for the rest of your life and
you'll look and you'll watch while
others laugh and rejoice and are just
drunk in the spirit walking in signs and
wonders and miracles and you won't be
able to get into it you won't even be a
you could be right in the middle of the
meeting it won't touch you because of
disobedience
praise the Lord if you'll seek him with
all of your heart his eyes will stop
over your life and he'll come and he'll
work for you and he'll do amazing things
for you make up your mind that you want

victory over it you're going to
breakthrough in this area you're gonna

your life you're just gonna have to like
bring this thing before the Lord and say

this is an area that I've held back the
